Marriage Mondays: There's No 'Us' in 'Ego'
Hi Dolls... It's Heaven here.
Happy Monday! As you all know by now, Every Monday, I blog about topics regarding Marriage titled #MarriageMonday where I discuss things that I'm experiencing as a Newlywed as well as things I'll need advice on. This is for my fellow Brides to Be & Wives. Please feel free to comment below or under the #MarriageMonday post on my Instagram (@HeavenTheQuaintrelle).
Now, on to the topic of the day: "There's No 'Us' in 'Ego"
So, I've been married for 7 Months & I'm already understanding the whole "putting your Ego aside" aspect of the relationship. Before the "I Do's", I was quick to say "So What?", "Who Cares?", "You Can Leave!", "I'm Not Apologizing", Noooowww, I just can't do that. It's not ethical nor healthy for this commitment we've entered into.
We've recently got into a mild argument (where I was in the Wrong!) & I wasn't going to apologize. I realized that I had to put my pride aside, admit I was wrong & APOLOGIZE! YES, APOLOGIZE! Usually, us (spoiled girls), have a problem not having our way or admitting when we're wrong. I give our spouses enough credit dealing with all that we put them through because I'm sure we can be a headache.
And if this isn't your dynamic (where you're spoiled & have a hard time putting your pride aside), that's a great thing! Kudos to you, Honey! :) We're trying to get like you. LOL
The Moral is: There's No 'Us' In 'Ego.

Until next Monday's Post, Brides & Wives!
